Our lives have all been touched by those in uniform. We rarely are given the opportunity to properly thank them for what they have experienced.
We are about to do just that on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from noon to 6pm in the Canal Market District Area at 57 S. 3rd St. in downtown Newark next to the Licking County Historic Jail. Once again, we are honoring those who serve or have served in the military as well as first responders: firefighters/EMS workers, police officers, and sheriff’s deputies.
Building on last year’s success with over 3000 in attendance, we will have a Black hawk helicopter landing and displayed on the parking garage, Army Reserve country military band, and official army KP tent with all the fixings and a Meals Ready to Eat (MRE) demonstration, and with several military vehicles.
Military, police, fire vehicles display and activities, Military private collections exhibits. Military band, Family activities, Food trucks, pizza, beer, wine, and whiskey. Local craft show including patriotic crafts.
Please join us as we dedicate a day to honoring those in uniform!
